4TC (formerly The Content Partnership) is a strategic communication consultancy based in Dublin. We offer a complete range of communication services and counsel to clients across industry sectors including technology, sport, tourism, health and wellness, and professional services, as well as local government and government-sponsored organisations.

The company and its directors have an established track record of offering PR, media relations, reputation, issues and crisis management counsel to a wide range of organisations, both large and small, domestic and international.

Our work is underpinned by a strong journalistic heritage. We have the skills and experience to identify your business or brand’s story and communicate it effectively to your target audience.

Our Approach

The 4TC approach is a collaborative one, aimed at developing an in-depth understanding of all facets of the client’s business, which allows the provision of informed, relevant and realistic communication counsel.

4TC seeks to embed itself in the client’s organisation, as a trusted advisor to all those who are involved in, or impacted by, the communication strategy and process.

These things are achieved by an initial round of familiarisation meetings – plus follow-ups as required – a feedback and understanding session (or sessions, as necessary), and an ongoing schedule of update, progress and reporting calls and meetings.

4TC also provides media and communication training services to its clients, helping them develop a complete communication strategy. This might include defining purpose and message, developing stories and the process of stakeholder outreach – via preparation for interviews, media events, presentations and speaking opportunities – and preparing for reputation, issues and crisis management.

Craig McKechnie
Founding Director
Craig is a communications and content specialist who co-founded The Content Partnership/4TC in 2015 after a 20-year career as a journalist at leading media organisations around the world – including senior roles as Assistant Editor of the Irish Independent and Editor of Herald AM. 4TC's clients benefit from Craig's ability to identify and communicate stories to multiple audiences, as well as his extensive contact book and knowledge of how the media works.

Richard Burke
Founding Director
Richard has a deep knowledge of all aspects of communications developed over 25 years working in public relations. He leverages an acute understanding of what engages the media and public with a strong network of business and media contacts to develop communications strategies which maximise positive exposure. If a journalist is identified as being relevant, Richard will ensure that a strong relationship will be created with them on behalf of the client.

Jeremy is a corporate affairs and public relations practitioner with more than 25 years’ experience, both agency and in-house, across a wide range of industry sectors.He has advised companies large and small, privately-owned and publicly-quoted, domestic (UK and Ireland) and international. These include Allied Irish Banks, London City Airport, Visa Inc., Whitbread PLC and Guinness PLC.Jeremy is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (UK).
